Highlights of the tour:

• The tour begins with a scenic drive through oil palm and rubber plantations interspersed with tropical jungle. On arriving at Belimbing Village, you will board a traditional river boat for a 40-minute ride through forest where you may spot monkeys, water monitor lizards and birds along the way. With a "roof" of tree branches above and the forest all around you, the river cruises is an enchanting journey. A stop is inlcuded where aborigines will demonstrate the use of blowpipes for hunting. But the highlight of the tour is certainly the expansive lake and beautiful "sights" created by nature. The best time to go on this tour is generally between May and July when certain parts of the lake may be covered with lotus flowers in full bloom.
