Highlights of the Tour:

• At 1820m above sea level, the highlands were discovered by surveyor William Cameron in 1885. He described it as "a fine  plateau with gentle slopes, shut in by lofty mountains". The highlands is picturesque with its mist-covered hills and valleys. Tea planters and wealthy planters looking for a cool retreat were initially attracted to the place. They were soon followed by the Chinese vegetable farmers and the spate of development caught on. There are three main districts in Cameron Highlands, Ringlet, Tanah Rata, Brinchang.
