1. RATES & PRICES
1.10 Currency
All rates quoted in Malaysia Ringgit (MYR), unless otherwise specified.
1.20 Change of Prices
All prices quoted are correct at the time of printing. In the event a service provider increases its prices to Mon Li during the course of this contract, Mon Li reserves the right to increase the price under this contract to the extend the prices charged to Mon Li have been increased. Advice of such price changes will be made from Mon Li upon notice of reservation confirmation for products whose prices have been increased. Clients partaking the services after such an advice will signify acceptance of the prices revision.
For products and services rendered overseas, the foreign exchange rates used may or may not correspond with the market exchange rates. Mon Li reserves the right to increase the exchange rates upon notice of reservation confirmation for products and services whose rates have been increased.
1.30 Good and Service Tax (GST)
The Malaysian Government has announced that it will introduce a Goods and Service Tax (GST). However, the new GST rate has not yet been decided. Therefore, rates quoted shall be subjected to the new GST when it comes into force.
2. BOOKING PROCEDURE
2.10 Booking
Bookings and enquiries can be in send to us via EMAIL or ONLINE INQUIRY FORM.
2.20 Reply From Mon Li
All bookings requested will be replied by electronic mail within two Malaysian business days. If you do not receive any reply from us within this period, kindly resend your request as the message could have been garbled or lost in transmission. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
2.30 Details of Service Requirement
In order to handle your reservation efficiently, please provide detailed information such as arrival/departure dates, flight details, meals, number of rooms, room types, full name of all clients, age of children with specific tour, transfer, accommodation, meals sightseeing and language requirements.
Unless otherwise specified, all bookings process by Mon Li.
3. PAYMENT METHOD

3.20 Payment Amount
Payment amount received must be as per invoice amount due to Mon Li Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd. Mon Li Travel & Tour Sdn Bhd reserves the right to charge any balance of short payment due to incurred bank charges. Bank charges are to be borne by the payer.
Note: Please include the applicable bank commission for outstation cheques.
4. HOTEL & LUGGAGE
4.10 Hotel
Rooms are assigned by the hotels and based on ROH (run-of house) unless otherwise indicated. Hotel check in time normally between 1400-1500 hours and check out is normally at 1200 hours.
4.20 Luggage Allowance
As a general rule, only one piece of luggage and one carry-on bag will be allowed for each client. Mon Li reserves the right to collect payment directly from clients or any any additional costs (including transportation costs) incurred for excess luggage.
5. CANCELLATION, PARTIAL CANCELLATION, “NO SHOW” AND AMENDMENTS CHARGES
5.10 Services providers such as hotels, carriers, restaurant contractors or any other companies related to the services provided may charge cancellation, amendments and/or no show fees depending on the situation and/or circumstances. Mon Li cannot be held responsible for charges incurred due to unforeseen circumstances.
Note: As a guide, peak seasons would normally apply during eve and public holidays, pre and post of Christmas Holidays, Chinese New Year Holidays, Hari Raya Holidays and school holidays in Malaysia and Singapore, any major events in town.
5.20 Cancellation Charges
Cancellation is non refund in full or in part.
5.30 “No Show”
In the event a client is a “No Show”, no refund in full or in part will be given for services in the programme not utilized.
6. TOUR FARE
6.10 Included In Tour Fare
Items and services included for each tour programme are listed in their own respective sections.
6.20 Excluded In Tour Fare
Flight tickets, airport tax, tips to porter, bellman, hotel maids or local guides; items of personal nature such as laundry, telephone calls, excess baggage fees and meals (unless specified in the itineraries); daily parking fees at hotel and any other items not specifically mentioned as included will be borne by the client directly.
7.0 RESPONSIBILITY
7.10 Mon Li acts only as agents for transportation companies, hotels and all other contractors/suppliers and finalizes all arrangement upon the expressed condition that it shall not be liable for any injury, damages, loss, accident, inadvertent errors in booking, delays generally or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of any defect in any vehicle, vessel or aircraft or through the acts or defaults, of any company or person engaged in conveying or accommodating passengers or in the carrying out of arrangements of the ground content, tours or otherwise in connection with its operations. To protect you and Mon Li, we require all clients to be adequately insured against the above mentioned liabilities.
7.20 Mon Li will not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the client/s as a result of the foregoing causes over which it has no control, such as war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God or Government, broken machinery or equipment requires as part of client/s’ itinerary, or unavoidable events that caused the clients’ itinerary unenforceable. Any charges levied by hotels, airline or other suppliers must be borne by the pax.
7.30 Mon Li reserves the right to alter the itineraries and/or substitute services with or without prior notice as a result of circumstances beyond our control or if it is deemed to be in the best interest of all parties concerned.
7.40 The terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the law of Malaysia as that law is constructed and amended from time to time and any action in connection with contract shall be brought in the Malaysian court having jurisdiction.
8.0 SEVERABILITY
8.10 Any term, conditions, stipulation, provision, covenant or undertaking in these Terms and Conditions which is illegal, void, prohibited or unenforceable shall be ineffective only to be extent of such illegality, voidness, prohibition or unenforceable without invalidating the whole such term, condition, stipulation, provision, covenant or undertaking or affecting the validity or enforceability thereof and any such illegality, voidness, prohibition or unenforceability shall not invalidate or render illegal, void or unenforceable any other term, condition, stipulation, provision, covenant or undertaking herein contains.
